Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Ali Yıldırım ("Leylek", "we") processes personal data in the Leylek mobile app and on leylekgo.com. Turkish users are additionally covered by our KVKK disclosure under Law No. 6698.

Data we collect

• Account: name, email, phone number, profile photo.
• Identity verification: government ID and selfie, only for users who receive payouts as travelers.
• Transactions: requests, trips, offers, payments, reviews.
• Messages: in-app conversations (retained for dispute resolution).
• Technical: device info, IP address, usage logs, push token.

We never store your card details — payments are processed by licensed payment institutions. We do not collect precise location; only your chosen delivery city is processed.

Why we process it

• Matching requesters with travelers and operating the marketplace,
• Running escrow payments, refunds, and traveler payouts,
• Preventing fraud and enforcing platform rules,
• Resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations,
• Improving the service and, with your consent, sending marketing messages.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers needed to run the service — payment institutions, identity verification providers, cloud hosting and push infrastructure — and with authorities where legally required. After an order matches, the other party sees only your name, photo, and review history; never your phone number.

International transfers

Some infrastructure providers are located outside Türkiye. Transfers are carried out with appropriate safeguards, including the standard contractual clauses published by the Turkish Data Protection Authority under Article 9 of Law No. 6698.

Retention & deletion

We keep data only as long as needed. You can delete your account in the app or via the web at any time. Records subject to statutory retention (e.g. payment and invoicing records, up to 10 years under Turkish law) are kept access-restricted for that period only.
