Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Leylek mobile app and leylekgo.com("Platform"), operated by Ali Yıldırım. By using the Platform you accept these terms.

1. Nature of the platform

Leylek is an intermediary marketplace connecting people who want products from abroad ("Requesters") with travelers willing to carry them ("Travelers"). Leylek is not a seller, carrier, courier, importer, or customs broker. The purchase and carriage relationship is formed solely between users.

2. Accounts

• The Platform is open to individuals aged 18 or over; one account per person.
• Identity verification is required to post trips and receive payouts.

3. Orders & payments

• The Requester prepays the item price, estimated taxes, traveler reward, and platform fee.
• Funds are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed by a one-time code or in-app confirmation.
• If no dispute is opened within 72 hours of the Traveler marking delivery, funds auto-release.
• Leylek charges a service fee, published in the app, on each completed order.

4. Cancellations & disputes

• Cancellations before the item is purchased are refunded minus payment processing costs.
• After purchase, cancellations go through the dispute process; the Traveler's documented spending is protected.
• Disputes are resolved within 72 hours based on submitted evidence; partial refunds are possible.

5. Prohibited items & customs

Illegal goods, prescription or over-the-counter medication, items violating aviation security rules, foods of animal origin, counterfeit goods, and commercial quantities under applicable customs law are prohibited. Customs compliance is solely the Traveler's responsibility; Travelers agree to carry only within personal exemption allowances and to make any required declarations.

6. Conduct

Taking transactions off-platform or requesting payment outside the Platform is prohibited and voids all protections. Users agree to communicate honestly and fulfill their side of each order in good faith.

7. Liability

As an intermediary, Leylek is not liable for the performance of user transactions, product defects, delays, or customs seizures; its liability is in all cases limited to the service fee collected on the relevant order, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
